Abstract
A process for recovering from caffeine-loaded activated carbon by treatmentf the loaded carbon with an acid. According to the present invention, activated carbon is treated with a compound having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is methyl, H or Cl, and R.sub.2 is Cl, OH or phenyl.
