Abstract
A skin moisturizing preparation, such as a skin cream, face cream, lotion or ointment containing a combination of a phosphatide such as soy lecithin and one or more C.sub.10 -C.sub.30 carboxylic acid sterol esters. The preparation preferably also contains a caprylic/capric acid triglyceride for enhanced moisturization. There is also described a method of treating dry skin by topical application of such moisturizing preparations.
