Abstract
A method is disclosed for servicing a wellbore comprising introducing into the wellbore a substantially solids-free fluid comprising an admixture of water, calcium bromide and methanol and wherein the admixture has a density of at least about 15 lb/gal (1.80 kg/l) and a crystallization point of no more than about 20.degree. C. The composition is also claimed.
