Abstract
A light guide is provided. The light guide includes: a light receiving face; a distal face opposite to the light receiving face; a first major face extending between, and perpendicular to, the light receiving face and the distal face; a second major face generally opposite to the first major face and including an angled portion tapering toward the first major face in a downstream direction; wherein the light guide includes a cross-sectional aspect ratio, defined by a width of the first major face divided by a height of the light receiving face, between 2.5:1 and 4:1, or between 2.75:1 and 3.75:1, or about 3.25:1. Luminaires incorporating the light guide, and related methods are also provided.
