Abstract
A process is proposed for preparing compounds of formula (I), (I) where the respective radicals in the compound of formula (I) are as follows: R1, R2, R3 and R4 each independently denote hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, sec-butyl, isobutyl, acetyl, formyl or cyano, comprising or consisting of the following steps: (A) etherification of a phenol derivative to obtain an allyl ether derivative; (B) Claisen rearrangement and subsequent cyclization of the ether from step (A); (C) acetylation or formylation of the intermediate from step (B), with steps (A) and (B) being effected in a one-pot reaction.
