A method of executing a cryptocurrency transaction includes receiving a cryptocurrency transaction instruction to execute a cryptocurrency transaction, the instruction including at least one key associated with at least one authorized keyset. It is next determined whether a transaction time of the cryptocurrency transaction instruction is in at least one of a plurality of predetermined time periods, each corresponding to a predetermined subset of authorized keysets of a plurality of predetermined subsets of authorized keysets. It is also determined whether the at least one key in the transaction instruction includes at least one key from each keyset of the predetermined subset of authorized keysets for the predetermined time period. The cryptocurrency transaction is executed only in response a determination that the at least one key in the transaction instruction includes at least one key from each keyset of the predetermined subset of authorized keysets for the predetermined time period.
