Abstract

The present disclosure describes the phosphate glass with telluride material has a composition of P₂O₅:TeO₂:BaF₂:ZnO:LiCl and contains Nb₂O₅:CdO:Ag₂O with transition oxide NiO:CuO:MnO₂ dopant ions of a rare earth metal La₂O₃:Tm₂O₃:Eu₂O₃. The thermal, optical, and luminescence properties of the fabricated glasses were investigated. The fabricated glasses are with high-quality, some of this fabricated glasses allows using in bandpass filters in the UV and VIS region especially red, and also fabricated glasses doped with rare earth ions RE uses in solid lasers, optical amplifiers, and optical coherence tomography (OCT). The fabricated glasses has low OH, homogenous, and the luminescence performance is good. The fabricated glasses co-doped Tm₂O₃/Eu₂O₃ led to the enchantment of the optical telecommunication band broadband NIR photo luminescence emission. Moreover, the fabricated glasses doped with Mn₂O₃/Ag₂O/Pr₂O₃, Eu₂O₃/Tm₂O₃ is superior's materials for wideband near-infrared phosphors which candidate for LED-based light sources and optical fiber application at 0.45 and 1.84 μm.
