Abstract

The invention is a snap fit modular component containment system integrated into a cooler with the inventions particular modular ice pack components inserted and removed from the coolers integrated sequestering alcoves. The securing alcoves accept the inventions modular ice packs that are then contained through snap fit retention in the rail walls of the cooler. The particular modular ice pack components are inserted into the snug rail system by hand using a leverage point to assist and maintain the ice packs secure positions. The particular modular ice pack components when inserted into the snug rail system create a distinct advantage by ordered assignment of those ice packs allowing for additional space due to proximal containment in the inventions alcoves. Insertion and extraction of the particular modular ice packs from the inventions component fence rails within the coolers cargo hold is accomplished with ease by hand. This area of work and the application of this structural modular snap fit sequestering system of particular modular component ice packs within the inventions cooler carrying system offers greater security, control, expanded interior space, effective use, and ease of use in cooler cargo holds. These aspects lead to a positive impact on the environment with amelioration of water loss and unnecessary waste and container carrier cleanup. The inventions physical benefits create approximately 60% more usable space in the cooler than traditional bagged ice. The invention averts additional loss by sequestration of ice the clustering effect of unrestricted cargo that eventually leads to loss and damage of cargo. The economic benefits include reduction of the use of new cargo components, particularly bagged ice, unnecessary plastic bag ice acquisition and the environmentally destructive single use aspects of those alternative methods and modes.
