A method for fluorescence imaging includes receiving fluorescence imaging data, receiving a user input selecting a reference region associated with the fluorescence imaging data, determining a reference fluorescence intensity level based on the reference region, and displaying a color map based on the fluorescence imaging data, wherein a color scale of the color map is based on the reference fluorescence intensity level.
