Abstract
A polarizer includes a polarizing functional layer and a whisker arranged within the polarizing functional layer. After dyeing and stretching, the polarizing functional layer converts natural light into polarized light, and the whiskers are directionally arranged within the polarizing functional layer. The whisker has a long axis, and the extension direction of the long axis has an angle of −5 degrees to 5 degrees with the absorption axis of the polarizing functional layer. The present disclosure also provides a method for preparing a polarizer, and a display panel having a polarizer.
