A suspension mechanism for a mechanical extension device. The suspension mechanism is configured to be mounted on a mounting plate of the mechanical extension device and includes a link structure connected to the mounting plate and including a first link, a second link, and a third link, where a first end of the first link is hinged to the mounting plate, and a second end of the first link is hinged to the third link; a first end of the second link is hinged to the mounting plate, and a second end of the second link is hinged to the third link; and the first link, the second link, the third link, and the mounting plate constitute a first four-bar structure; and a control structure connected to the link structure.
