Abstract
Embodiments of the disclosure include a dynamic microphone capsule suspension assembly. The microphone capsule suspension assembly includes a body comprising: an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the inner surface defines an internal region that is configured to support a microphone; an upper extension extending from the outer surface in a radial direction that extends from a central axis of the body; and a lower extension extending from the outer surface in the radial direction. The upper extension and lower extension are spaced apart in a direction that is parallel to the central axis, and each comprise a wall that has a first wall thickness and comprises an array of indentations that have a second wall thickness formed therein. The first wall thickness is greater than the second wall thickness.
