Abstract
A simple and stable method by which samples in different forms can be acquired at once from a blood sample. A method for collecting microorganisms that comprises: introducing a blood sample 200 into a first storage part 100 of a container 1, said container 1 being provided with the first storage part 100 having a first flow path 103 and a second flow path 104 of different heights on the side face, a second storage part 101 and a third storage part 102; centrifuging the blood sample 200 at a first centrifugal force to separate into a bacterial solution 202 containing microorganisms and a solution 203 containing blood cells; centrifuging the blood sample 200 at a second centrifugal force greater than the first centrifugal force and moving the solution 203 through the first flow path 103 to the second storage part 101; centrifuging the second solution 203 at a third centrifugal force to separate into a bacterial solution 206 containing microorganisms and blood components 207 containing blood cells; and centrifuging the solution 203 at a fourth centrifugal force greater than the third centrifugal force and moving the bacterial solution 206 through the second flow path 104 to the third storage part 102.
