Abstract
The present disclosure provides a vehicle control system for controlling a vehicle. The vehicle control system comprises processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire a video captured by a common camera, calculate a first vehicle position that is a position of the vehicle from the video based on a first position estimation algorithm, calculate a second vehicle position that is a position of the vehicle from the video based on a second position estimation algorithm, and decelerate or stop the vehicle according to a deviation state in which a position difference between the first vehicle position and the second vehicle position exceeds an allowable error.
