Abstract
Liquid level sensor systems and methods include a sensor having a plurality of radar transmitters, one or more radar receivers, and antennas associated with each of the plurality of radar transmitters at respectively unique locations relative to the liquid storage tank. A processor is configured to determine, in view of the respective radar returns from combinations of the plurality of radar transmitters and one or more radar receivers, a single liquid level output for the liquid storage tank in order to reduce an influence of possibly inaccurate radar returns due to localized effects from tank imperfections and/or solid/liquid buildup.
