Abstract
This application provides a group communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method may include: A group management network element receives a group communication request message including identification information of a first terminal device and identification information of a second terminal device, determines a first session management network element and a second session management network element in response to the group communication request message, and triggers the first session management network element and the second session management network element to establish group communication between the first terminal device and the second terminal device, where the first session management network element serves a first session that has been established by the first terminal device, and the second session management network element serves a second session that has been established by the second terminal device.
