Abstract
A communication method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, first information from a network device, wherein the first information comprises N information blocks, a jth information block in the N information blocks comprises a first field, the first field indicates at least one of a band or a carrier after switching of the terminal device, the jth information block is associated with at least one of a band or a carrier before the switching of the terminal device, and N is a positive integer; and transmitting, by the terminal device based on the first information, uplink data in the at least one of the band or the carrier after the switching.
