Abstract
The recording device 11 includes a device main body 12 having a placement tray 41 on which a medium 18 recorded by the recording section 30 is placed; a reading section 23 that is provided on the −Z direction side of the device main body 12 and that is configured to read a document; and a support section 70 that is provided between the device main body 12 and the reading section 23 in the Z-axis direction and that is configured to support the reading section 23, wherein the support section 70 includes a plurality of support pillars 71a, 71c provided on the outer side of the −X direction end of the placement tray 41 in the X-axis direction and a plurality of support pillars 71b and 71d provided on an outer side of the +X direction end of the placement tray 41 in the X-axis direction.
