Abstract
A battery includes an electrode assembly, a shell, a first bonding member, a second bonding member, and a protection device. The electrode assembly includes a first tab. The shell includes a first main body part and a side edge part connected to the first main body part, the side edge part includes a first wall surface and a second wall surface. The first bonding member includes a first bonding surface and a second bonding surface disposed opposite each other. The protection device includes a first part and a second part, where the first part is bonded to the second bonding surface, and the second part is welded to a part of the first tab extending out of the shell and then bent to be stacked with the first part. A third part of the second bonding member is bonded to a surface of the first part facing the second part.
