Abstract
An aqueous dispersion containing polylactic acid as a dispersoid and polyvinyl alcohols as a dispersant is improved to impart more excellent heat-sealing properties and water-resisting properties to a resulting polylactic acid film. An aqueous dispersion for forming a film containing 3 g/m2 (dry weight) or more of polylactic acid to a substrate, the aqueous dispersion including polylactic acid, polyvinyl alcohols, and water, in which the polyvinyl alcohols have an average saponification degree of 60.0 to 82.0 mol %, and a blending ratio (mass ratio) of the polylactic acid and the polyvinyl alcohols is 98/2 to 90/10.
