Abstract
A measurement tool comprising a base portion that is adapted to be positioned over an upper clamping portion of a brake, wherein an elongated portion of the measurement tool extends from the base portion to facilitate measurement of material to be bent or cut by the brake. In one exemplary installation method, a base portion of an exemplary embodiment of the measurement tool may simply be clipped onto a rear edge of an upper clamping portion, which may be done manually without compromising the brake with holes. Furthermore, in an exemplary removal method, a base portion of an exemplary embodiment of the measurement tool may simply be unclipped from the brake, which again may be done manually without compromising the brake.
