The present disclosure provides a yeast-based nutrients rich in sterols to prevent or reduce slow and/or sluggish alcoholic fermentation and maintaining or increase the fermenting capacity of Active Dry Yeast (ADY) or Instant Dry Yeast (IDY) during alcoholic fermentation.
