Abstract
According to an embodiment, a search device includes an antenna having directivity, a communication unit, a determination unit, an imaging unit, and a display unit. The communication unit that wirelessly communicates with a search-target wireless tag using the antenna. The determination unit is configured to determine a relative position of the wireless tag with respect to the antenna based on a state of communication between the communication unit and the search-target wireless tag. The imaging unit that obtains an image of an imaging range defined as a direction of orientation of the antenna. The display unit is configured to display a screen on which a guide image for bringing the antenna close to the position determined by the determination unit is superimposed on the image obtained by the imaging unit.
