A ceiling storage rack that stores an object and is suspended from a ceiling includes a plurality of shelves that are able to be raised and lowered and a raising and lowering section that raises and lowers the plurality of shelves, vertically adjacent ones of the plurality of shelves being able to come closer to each other so that a distance therebetween is smaller than a height of the object.
