Abstract
The present disclosure discloses a disinfectant and a disinfection method for effectively killing endospores. The disinfectant includes a certain amount of polyhexamethylene biguanide as an active ingredient to kill endospores of Bacillus subtilis var. niger. The disinfectant can effectively kill endospores at room temperature and the atmospheric pressure. The disinfectant can be used for disinfection in environments including hospitals, crowded places, enclosed spaces, public transportation, and livestock and poultry breeding farms.
