The method comprises generating an alternating voltage (Vmn) based on three alternating input voltages (Va, Vb, Vc) received at an input (a, b, c) of a power converter, wherein generating the alternating intermediate voltage (Vmn) comprises controlling waveforms of three input currents (Ia, Ib, Ic) received at the input (a, b, c) dependent on waveforms of the three alternating input voltages (Va, Vb, Vc).
