Abstract
An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating material, a hole transport material, a first resin, and a second resin. The first resin is contained in the same layer as the second resin. The second resin has a percentage content of at least 1% and no greater than 3% to the total mass of the first resin and the second resin. The first resin includes repeating units represented by formulas (1), (2), (3), and (4).
