Abstract
Implementation of video enhancement processing is facilitated. A video input unit (11) extracts a color signal from a target video signal. A signal converter (12) extracts a target color signal corresponding to a desired color change from the color signal. A filter processor (13) generates an enhanced minute color signal which enhances a desired color change included in the target color signal by applying a weighted enhancement time-frequency band-pass filter to the target color signal to a target color signal. An addition unit (14) generates an enhanced target color signal by adding the enhanced minute color signal to the target color signal. A video synthesizing unit (15) adds the enhancement target color signal and the color signals other than the target color signal to synthesize an enhanced video in which a desired color change included in the target video signal is enhanced.
