Abstract
A therapeutic system and method are described. In one example, the system may include an implantable pulse generator configured to generate a current, a plurality of electrodes configured to apply the current to one or more splanchnic nerves of a patient, where each of the plurality of electrodes comprises at least one of an anode or a cathode, a processor, and memory. In some examples, the processor may receive sensor information describing subcutaneous nerve activity of the patient and adjust one or more parameters of the implantable pulse generator based on the subcutaneous nerve activity.
