Abstract
A fabric with fluid absorption capabilities is provided. The fabric includes a first layer, a second layer, and a spacer yarn. The first layer includes a hydrophobic yarn, and the second layer includes a hydrophilic yarn and a reinforcement yarn plied together. The hydrophobic yarn, the hydrophilic yarn, and the reinforcement yarn form a plurality of valleys on an upper surface of the first layer. The spacer yarn is configured to connect the first layer and the second layer.
