A display device includes a light emitting area and a non-light emitting area, a light emitting element disposed in the light emitting area on a substrate and including a pixel electrode, a light emitting layer, and an upper electrode, the pixel electrode, light emitting layer, and upper electrode being sequentially disposed, a light blocking layer disposed on the light emitting element in the non-light emitting area, and a reflection control layer disposed on the light emitting element, covering the light blocking layer, and including a recess depressed concavely from an upper surface in the light emitting area.
