Abstract
A tremolo unit is provided, in which string can be strongly tightened and stably clamped. The tremolo unit including a base plate 10 arranged on a surface of a string instrument and a saddle 100 attached on a surface of the base plate 10. The saddle 100 includes a saddle main body 110 and a clamper 160 rotatably attached to the saddle main body 110, and the saddle main body 110 includes a penetrating hole 140 through which a string is inserted and a saddle part 120 receiving a string drawn from the penetrating hole 140 to a neck side of a string instrument. The clamper 160 is supported in a condition in which a supporting part 161 is rotatably supported in order to enable an end part of a neck side of the saddle part 120 side to approach closer to and be further away from the saddle part 120, and at an end part opposite to the neck side of the clamper 160, an operating part 164 is arranged which makes the end part move away from the saddle main body 110 by pressing the saddle main body 110.
