Abstract
The invention relates to a bag filling apparatus for use by a person to fill bags of a flowable material, including a hand operation control means and a directing means including a first part for contact with the flowable material in the location, able to direct and move the flowable material towards a second part. In use the person can move the first part of the directing means into contract with the flowable material by moving by hand the machine into contact, and the directing means moves the flowable material from the location towards a location where a bag may be filled. The invention also relates to variants thereon and methods of use.
