Abstract
A processing apparatus for a camera image is disclosed. The processing apparatus for the camera image is configured to: recognize an object in an image obtained via an image capture device; calculate a target shutter value corresponding to the movement speed of the object; and determine, on the basis of the target shutter value, a shutter value at a start point of a sensor gain control duration in an automatic exposure control step. If the movement of an object is fast, a high-speed shutter is applied, and, if an object is not present or the movement of an object is slow, a low-speed shutter is applied. Accordingly, noise and motion blur may be minimized according to the level of illuminance in the automatic exposure control step.
