The stainless steel foil for a catalyst support of an exhaust gas purifier comprises: a predetermined chemical composition; a parameter Sa defined in ISO 25178 of 0.50 μm to 3.00 μm; and a parameter Str defined in ISO 25178 of 0.20 to 1.00.
