Abstract

A building design for providing retail space that enhances the presentation and sale of a specific class of products. A decorative exterior structure resembling a typical item from the class of products is provided with a display floor accommodating multiple kiosks, each showcasing a variety of products within the class. The building may particularly be a jewelry store with a ring-shaped structure or a footwear store with a shoe-shaped structure. In the jewelry embodiment, the ring-shaped building incorporates set jewels and may include an outdoor patio conforming to the shape of the item and incorporate a camouflaged elevator shaft. The building design enables efficient product indexing, customer selection, automated movement for improved inspection, and optional magnification for jewelry items. The customer interface can be facilitated through a touchscreen, offering a seamless shopping experience.
