Abstract
The invention relates to a steel material in powder form for printing in additive manufacturing methods such as selective laser melting (SLM) or selective laser sintering (SLS) or for use in hot isostatic pressing methods, wherein the material has the following composition:
- C 0.17-0.23Si 0.10-0.80Mn 0.15-0.45P ≤0.03S ≤0.015Cr 0.8-2.0Mo 0.15-0.80Ni 0.1-2.0V 0.1-2.0 the remainder being comprised of iron, optional elements, and inevitable smelting-related impurities as well as a method for manufacturing it and a method for producing a component made thereof.
