Abstract

An imaging mass spectrometry device includes: an ionization unit that ionizes a sample at a plurality of positions on the sample; a mass spectrometry unit that performs mass spectrometry on the ionized sample and detects fragment ions generated by dissociation of a precursor ion derived from the sample; a data acquisition unit that acquires intensity data in which intensities of a fragment ion are correlated with the plurality of positions on the sample; an image creation unit that creates image data in which a value obtained by integrating the intensity data corresponding to a plurality of different fragment ions generated from the same precursor ion is expressed by a pixel value or a pixel color at positions on an image respectively corresponding to the plurality of positions; and a display unit that displays an image corresponding to the image data.
