Abstract
The present invention provides a water-absorbing sheet suitable for a hygienic material such as a disposable diaper. The water-absorbing sheet in accordance with an aspect of the present invention includes: a first base material; a second base material; and a particulate water-absorbing agent sandwiched between the first base material and the second base material, at least one of the first base material and the second base material being a water-permeable base material, and at least part of the particulate water-absorbing agent satisfying the following physical properties (1), (2), and (3):
- (1) a centrifuge retention capacity (CRC) is 30 g/g to 50 g/g;(2) a mass average particle diameter (D50) is 200 μm to 600 μm; and(3) a DRC index defined by the following Formula (a) is 43 or less:
