Abstract
A clamping system that includes a first jaw, a second jaw—the second jaw being pivotally connected to the first jaw—a locking handle pivotally connected to the first and second jaws, an adjustment element, first and second lever arms, and a release lever secured to the locking handle and configured to move the locking handle away from the first jaw. The clamping system is capable of being fitted with a mounting apparatus including a pin and a receiver, one of which is attached to the clamping system and the other of which is attached to an external surface.
