Abstract
Extraction process of an injector (1) stuck in its housing (3) within a cylinder head (5) of a motor vehicle, the said injector (1) comprising a body (9), a part of which protrudes from the outside of the housing (3), the protruding part having a high-pressure connection (13), the process comprising the mounting of an extractor (15) to the high-pressure connection (13) of the injector (1); and the extraction of the injector (1) by using the extractor (15). The process is remarkable in that step b) dealing with the extraction of the injector (1) includes the retrieval of the injector (1) so as to trigger the rotation of the injector (1) around the longitudinal axis of the injector 1.
