Abstract
A system for detecting and monitoring an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in a facility is disclosed herein. The system includes a detection device and a contraband monitoring center configured to receive an alert from the detection device, wherein the alert comprises a time and a location of the detection device when the UAV was detected, develop an intervention plan for intervening with communications to or from the UAV based on the alert, generate a notification based on the intervention plan, and transmit the notification to the detection device.
