Abstract
A linear actuator may include a movable element; a stationary element; and a damper member inserted between a movable-element-side facing suface of the movable element and a stationary-element-side facing surface of the stationary element. The stationary element may include a first element structured to support the movable element via a spring member in such a way as to be movable, and a second element comprising the stationary-element-side facing surface and overlapping with the first element from a side opposite to the movable element in the moving direction. A distance adjusting part may be provided between the first element and the second element, the distance adjusting part being structured to adjust a distance between the first element and the second element in the moving direction, by way of deforming at least one of the first element and the second element.
