A method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube fiber, the method comprising: preparing a core material—extending in a predetermined direction; preparing a carbon nanotube array comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes aligned on a substrate and oriented vertically to the substrate; preparing a carbon nanotube untwisted yarn comprising the plurality of continuously connected carbon nanotubes by drawing the carbon nanotube untwisted yarn from the carbon nanotube array; and winding the carbon nanotube untwisted yarn around the core material.
