Abstract
The present invention relates according to a first aspect to method and device for transmitting data packets from a first device to a second device, the method comprising at the first device:
- sending a data packet to the second device;if a request for retransmitting the data packet is received from the second device, the method further comprising:obtaining reliability information on whether the sent data packet is of reliable type or unreliable type; andif the data packet is of reliable type, then the data packet is resent to the second device; andif the data packet is of unreliable type, then a notification is sent to the second device for notifying the second device that the data packet is not to be resent.
