Abstract
A coating composition comprising a polyether polyol having a hydroxyl functionality of 3 to 8 and the reaction product of:
- (i) a phosphorus acid, and(ii) a polyepoxide and/or a polyester.The compositions are useful for coating containers of all sorts, such as food and beverage containers. The compositions can be formulated to be substantially free of bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) and other derivatives of BPA.
