Abstract
An organic electroluminescence device 1 of the present invention includes a support substrate 2, an organic electroluminescence element 3 provided on the support substrate 2, a moisture absorbing layer 41 which is provided on the organic electroluminescence element 3 and which contains a boron compound, and a moisture barrier layer 51 which is provided on the moisture absorbing layer 41 and which contains a nitrogen compound. In this organic electroluminescence device, a moisture barrier layer and a moisture absorbing layer are hardly peeled off.
