Abstract
Methods of treating seeds are disclosed herein. Embodiments of the present invention include method of controlling phytopathogenic diseases on seeds of useful plants, wherein such methods include applying to the seeds of fungicidally effective amount of a salicylic acid or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof. Further embodiments include seeds treated with a plant propagation material protecting composition comprising a fungicidally effective amount of a salicylic acid or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, together with a suitable carrier.
