Abstract
A method of playing a poker type and a gaming machine. In the game after a base wager is made, three cards are dealt to a player and a dealer. The player forms a two card hand from the three cards dealt to the player, and the dealer forms a two card hand from the three cards dealt to the dealer. The player then either folds or makes a call wager. If the dealer's two card hand is not a qualifying hand, the call wager is declared a push, and the player is paid even money on the ante wager if the player's hand is ranked higher than the dealer's. If the dealer's two card hand is a qualifying hand, then the player's ante wager and call wager are paid even money if the player's two-card hand outranks the dealer's two-card hand.
