Abstract
A CO sensor 1 is provided with a sensing electrode 3 and a reference electrode 4 on a surface of a solid electrolyte substrate 2. The sensing electrode 3 is composed of Pt, to which Bi2O3 is added and the reference electrode 4 is composed of Pt. The sensing electrode 3 has CO selectivity by which CO gas concentration can be sensed and responds rapidly at room temperature.
